Direct Second Year Under Graduate (Lateral Entry) - D.S.E.

Admissions to Direct Second Year B.E./B.Tech are based on Diploma score. This is a full-time 3-year degree course affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Dr. BAMU), Chh. Sambhajinagar and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The intake capacity for D.S.E. is based on lateral entry seats plus vacant seats from First Year Engineering.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology from an AICTE-approved institution with minimum prescribed marks as notified by the Competent Authority.
  • OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with Mathematics at 10+2 level and obtained required minimum marks.
  • OMS Candidates are eligible only for Institute Level admission.

  • Statement of Marks obtained at SSC
  • College Leaving Certificate after passing Diploma
  • Certificate of Indian Nationality & Domicile
  • Migration Certificate (if applicable)
  • Transference Certificate (if applicable)
  • Education Gap Affidavit on Stamp Paper of ₹100/- (if applicable)
  • Passport Size Photographs - 3 Nos.
  • Equivalence Certificate from MSBTE (For OMS Candidates)
  • EWS (Economically Weaker Section) Certificate of Maharashtra State (if applicable)

Important: Candidates claiming reservation under Maharashtra State must submit valid Caste Certificate, Caste Validity Certificate, and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (where applicable) at the time of admission.
